Minutes Secretary to the Board of Trustees - Will Garvey Trust

โ€‹

Estimated commitment – 4/5 hours every other month

โ€‹

Aims and expectations

โ€‹

We’d like someone to join us who can support our board meetings. We meet every other month, face to face, on a weekday evening, usually a Monday at 7pm.

We are looking for someone who can take the minutes at meetings and send them to our CEO for approval within two weeks of our meeting date.

We need someone who understands the importance of confidentiality and demonstrates this both during, and beyond, the meetings.

You will report to the CEO and work with the CEO and the Chair of the charity to ensure that the minutes are approved.

This is a development opportunity for someone who would like work experience as a volunteer.

โ€‹

Qualifications

We do not require any formal qualifications for this role.

However, strong written skills and ability to record information accurately, are essential.

โ€‹

Next steps

If you enjoy the administrative task of recording meetings accurately and would like a rewarding volunteer role supporting an expanding suicide prevention charity, we would love to hear from you.
