ABOUT US
Erewash Voluntary Action (EVA) is a local charity dedicated to supporting and strengthening voluntary and community groups across Erewash.
We help organisations develop their activities, build capacity, and grow with confidence.
Working in partnership with local authorities, health services, and education providers, EVA plays an active role in improving services and developing new initiatives that benefit the local community.
We offer a wide range of training opportunities to help groups gain new skills and become more effective in their work.
EVA also promotes the voice of the voluntary and community sector at county and regional levels. We are regularly consulted by national, regional, and local government bodies on issues and policies that affect the Erewash community.
Through our Volunteer Centre, we help people find rewarding ways to get involved. We promote volunteering, advertise opportunities, and recruit and train volunteers for both local organisations and our own projects.
Community groups and organisations are welcome to join EVA as members — contact us to find out how you can get involved.
