Supporting residents to live well, stay connected and thrive

The Lacemaker Court Wellbeing & Signposting Service provides dedicated wellbeing support to residents living at Lacemaker Court in Long Eaton. Delivered by Erewash Voluntary Action on behalf of Derbyshire County Council, the service is designed to promote independence, improve emotional wellbeing and create opportunities for residents to enjoy happier, healthier and more connected lives.

Our Wellbeing Officer works closely with residents to provide personalised one-to-one support, practical advice and a varied programme of wellbeing activities. Whether someone needs help completing paperwork, accessing local services, rebuilding confidence after illness or simply someone to listen, we're here to provide compassionate support at a pace that's right for them. Every resident is different, so our approach is flexible, person-centred and focused on what matters most to the individual.

In addition there are also monthly community themed wellbeing sessions, for residents and their families and friends to join.

At the heart of the service is a simple belief: everyone deserves to feel valued, connected and supported. By helping residents overcome everyday challenges, maintain their independence and build meaningful relationships, the Lacemaker Court Wellbeing & Signposting Service is making a positive difference to people's lives every day.
