The Collaboratives are a community forum hosted in Amber Valley, Erewash and South Derbyshire as part of the Living Well initiative. Each meeting is designed so that people using local services sit alongside system leaders to develop a shared understanding of their community needs. Within these meetings the collaboratives discuss, debate and push for change to ensure individuals are supported and feel in control of their mental health and wellbeing.
Living Well is a collaborative initiative that brings together community mental health teams, social care, voluntary services and experts by experience as one unified team. By working together, we can provide and improve the approach to mental health and wellbeing services, ensuring that service users receive the support they need without the hassle of repeated referrals and paperwork.
We believe that transforming mental health and wellbeing services is a collective effort. We invite everyone, including professionals, individuals, carers, clinicians, and community leaders to join us on this journey. We value input and by working together we can shape our emerging system to meet the diverse needs of our community.
