WHO WE ARE
Erewash Voluntary Action - CVS (EVA) is a local charity which supports voluntary and community groups, encouraging them to develop their activities and grow as organisations.
EVA is involved in strategic partnerships with statutory agencies working to improve health, education and local authority services. We strive to develop new initiatives for the benefit of the local community.
We offer a wide range of training opportunities for groups
EVA promotes the work of voluntary and community groups in Erewash at a county and regional level, often being consulted on issues and policies affecting the local community by national, regional, local government and other statutory agencies.
Our Volunteer Centre also promotes volunteering. We publicise opportunities, recruit and train volunteers for both local groups and for our own projects.

Membership is Free for the First year!
There after the cost is £10.00 per annum payable on a rolling basis provides, being a member gives you a voice at our Annual Meeting. Members can borrow equipment from us and use our colour photocopying and scanning services at a discounted price
The best reason to become a member is to give your group or organisation a voice.

We send out regular emails and newsletters to groups and to volunteers. You do not even have to be a member!
Our Annual reports can be downloaded from the Charity Commission website. Put our name or charity number in the search box.
We are funded by Derbyshire County Council, Derby & Derbyshire Clinical Commissioning Group and Erewash Health Partnership and our own earnings and public donations.
We are members of Long Eaton Chamber of Trade, East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, NAVCA and NCVO.
